depends on tank size and tank setup.
The hardest fish to kill would be the damsel fishes, but damsels will grow up and get rather large and aggressive.
I usually suggest to beginners to start with one or two ocellaris or false perucla clownfish. But no more than 2, and 2 will need around 30 gallons for a beginner.
