I'm on birth control and my placebo pill week is next week so i'm supposed to be starting my period in around a week. I don't know if i've started my period or if i'm just spotting, but i started bleeding a few days ago and it hasn't really stopped yet. i'm kind of cramping a little but it's not heavy at all. i know spotting is a normal side effect of birth control, but i also know that sex can sometimes cause an early period. what i need to figure out is, if it's my period, am i still gunna get my period next week when i take my placebo pills or not? help me!
