Star Wars revenge of the sith has set a new record for opening day.

I was expecting it to beat Shrek 2 but didn't think it would get $50 million.

It'll last as long as people are willing to see it. What I mean is, whether it was a good film or not, everyone of a certain generation was going to see this, and it was always going to break recorRAB because of it's certificate and hype.

I thought it was okay tbh. Hyperboly aside, it's a good action movie, let down massively because Lucas has the narrative skills of a dead rabbit.
 
every few months the latest blockbuster has a record opening - it should go on the amount of tickets sold, not the gross income at the box office.
