Star wars: Old Republic questions?

Hi everyone, I have a few questions about the upcoming Online role playing game ..old republic.

Will it be free to play or will it be pay to play like other games such as world of borecraft?

Does it have anything to do with Knights of the old republic?

for example does it have any characters from that game in it, like bastila, revan .. ect

Does anyone know what the system requirements will be?

I will probably be pay to play, yes it has a lot to do with the old republic however it is set in the second KOTOR games future (500 years) Maybe some enemies no allies though.

As for system requirements update your drivers and hope they work.
