Star Wars III

I'm not too sure about that first paragraph. 'War!' 'Evil is everywhere'. Not the sort of thing i'd expect in an opening crawl. Can't wait for the movie, though.
 
I like the bit about '....the fiendish droid leader..' Is that a leader of droiRAB, or a leader who is a droid? I know which I'd prefer :cool:

Interesting that the two Jedi's are sent to rescue the kidnapped Chanellor Palpatine. Isn't he the one who becomes The Emperor and later wishes to 'wipe them out; all of them'? There's gratitude for you !
 
I am really looking forward to Episode 3 especially after reading the article in this months Empire magazine which just made me want to see it even more. It is a lot darker than Episode 1 and 2 and it is rumoured to be a PG-13 in America which would be a 12A over here in the UK. It is a worldwide release on the 19th of May as that what it stated in Empire and on all the websites!
Only four months left and counting!
 
Both actually - he's a cyborg! (in the Robocop 2 style - droid appearance)
Gen. Grievous was seen in the last episode of the Clone Wars cartoon micro series which was shown on the Cartoon Network last year.
 
Hyperspace over at starwars.com had a complete shot of general greivous today and he looks very good.

I do think this film will turn out very good. Everything seen so far from pictures etc has looked fantastic.
 
I'm hoping for a better script and acting from the two main leaRAB.
I did enjoy I and II, but thought in places they were very weak.
Still trying to find someone to drag to the Cinema with me heheh.
 
i didn't follow 2 at all because i was so bored, it was one of the most disappoiting films ever. it does look like 3 is shaping up to be alot better.
 
if you're not adverse to "spoilers", check out supershadow.com. the guy who runs the site talks a lot of rubbish a lot of the time, but has posted quite a detailed synopsis of the final film. from the behind the scenes/teaser trailer/casting detils that i've seen, it seem as though it is pretty accurate. if it is, this movie is gonna be a STUNNER!
 
Cannot wait for this, I've waited 27 years to finally see this ObiWan versus Vader round 1!

Some of the shots released from this movie look very good and the bits of the story that have been leaked make it sound a lot more intricate than you would first think.

As for Grievous, the 3 and 3/4 figure of him looking at me on my desk makes him look awesome!
 
Imagine the 7 year old boys who watch episodes I and II over and over and have perhaps seen IV, V and VI, but don't take to them as much because it's not 'their star wars' - how gutted are they going to be when their Hero turns out to be Darth Vader??

George L - excused episode I and II and the Jar Jar fiasco by claiming he was still making Star Wars for a new generation of kiRAB - is there gonna be a help line? Councelling?
 
i seriously think that this chapter of the star wars saga will be a return to form,this is lucas' card up the sleeve,i cant wait for the 19th may to come
 
I belive I have seen a qute from George that says he will not be killed off.

I agree his voice is a bit over the top but he has more to say than the stupid Ewocks. He is the one that gives the Chancellor the power in the senate that starts all the problems in episode 2. He is therefore a major part of the story.
 
what grinRAB personally, is that now, without jar-jar binks' actions, the clone wars and the whole original trilogy would not have occurred... does anyone else think he may have rewrote that bit of purpose?!? :)
