I'm not much of a fan on ST but for some weird reason I'm really looking forward to seeing the new film. I've seen the trailer a while back, it doesn't really give much away though.

I'm also itching to see ST:The Motion Picture again. I haven't seen it in years but had fond memories of it. Every time I go to pick up a copy of it it's really expensive. That and ST:Wrath of Khan are really the only ST films I like, maybe I should invest in a copy.
 
Well I'm no fanboy but I like the movies a lot and I'm really looking forward to the new one. Be interesting to see if the young cast can make the characters their own, tho I have my reservations.
 
the trailer is apparently attached to QOS in the US which opens november 14th. hopefully it will turn up online after that.

off topic, but there are also rumours that Transformers 2 and a new Terminator: Salvation trailer will also be attached too

please god let this be:D:D
 
I love ST: The Original Series and have liked what I've seen of the Next Generation. I'm excited for this movie but really quite nervous as well. I've loved Kirk and Spock since I was little and I hope I can take to the actors who will be playing them in the movie.
