Star map for use in Iraq?

My friend is deployed to Iraq and likes to star gaze, so for a gift I'd like to send him a star map so he can know what he's gazing at. All the ones I find say they are accurate in the US and Canada. Will he still be able to use them Iraq? If not, where can I get one he can use?
