I arrive at the airport at 7.30 am an fly back that evening at 8.00pm. I need a good few hours that day but am now worried that travelling by hire car on a monday morning will take hours. Is this likely to be the case or will i be moving against the flow of the monday morning traffic? Perhaps if i avoid motorways and go across country i will avoid jams? Any help or advice appreciated. Thanks
