Stallworth 30 days in jail for killing a man and Vick 2 years in prison for

killing some freaking dogs? Really? Our justice system at work..unbelievable. Vick's life is ruined, and Stallworth will be able to make it training camp...wtf??
Amans,,or whatever your name is...Vick killed dogs and was on the news every single day. Cameras in the court room, National media there every day..the outrage was incredible over k-9's.
Where is that outrage about another athlete killing a person?? It doesn't matter if it was an accident, he was drunk, that is voluntary manslaughter if you ask me. People do more time for traffic violations...how can you stand up for this nonsense?? Moron
Why does it matter how many dogs Vick killed??They're freaking dogs. Animals. Why concern ourselves with what somebody does to their own dogs? The man didn't go into your house and kill you dog..they were his dogs..Whats the difference between killing a pet dog and a pet fish?? They're both animals..Stallworth killed a human being!

I know, I know...

things must really seem confusing to you (and all the other special needs people like you). I suggest that you get an education, or at least do a little research on the two cases. You are comparing two completely different cases. It's not even apples and oranges, my special needs friend, it's more like apples and the space shuttle.

It must be hard going through life confused. It's never too late to start for a better life!

Donte. It doesn't matter if he meant to do it he did it! If he wasn't drunk that wouldn't have happend. Michael just killed dogs not humans. Donte kills a human 1 month Michael kills dogs 23 months! That is plain stupid. Anybody would agree with me if you don't your just plain stupid.

Hey, Ray Lewis GOT AWAY with murder. How about O.J. Simpson? He brutally murdered 2 people, and all the evidence pointed to him. At least Stallworth is getting punishment, unlike the two names above who got away without serving a minute.

Are you as dumb as your screen name suggests?

Vick DID NOT GO TO JAIL FOR KILLING DOGS. He went to jail for running an illegal dogfighting operation, which included illegal gambling charges. He broke numerous state and federal laws, and he continued his actions for years and years.

When he's done with his jail sentence, Stallworth will be under house arrest for two years. He's on probation for eight years. His driver's license is suspended for life, and he has to perform 1,000 hours of community service and undergo drug and alcohol testing.

Stallworth's incident was accidental., and he showed contrition from the beginning and immediately pleaded guilty. He has also reached a financial settlement with the family. All of those things reduced his jail time. Vick's actions, meanwhile, were premeditated, and he tried to deny the charges until he couldn't anymore.

Oh but wait......Stallworth didn't MEAN to kill that man and Michael Vick MEANT to kill those dogs. C'mon! I don't even know why there is debate over this. Killing a human being should NEVER be less severe than killing an animal. But maybe to the liberals of the world it is.

the dog fightting is not the only thing vick was sent to prison for. what got him most of the 2 years in prison was the illegal gambling ring that was being run during the dog fights scross several state lines

and it wasnt SOME dogs it was MANY dogs 70 or more killed in premeditated inhumane ways

i agree with you stallworth should be locked up longer he is a punk and a low life piece of sh!t but stop comparing these two crimes

they are both heinous

his was an accident! who's to say it wouldn't have happened if he wasn't "legally drunk" .12 isn't that high idk what is said about that it's true for me and alot of others! some people it's enough to mess with them but not every1

adamans is the only one of you people who has any idea what they are talking about.

the pedestrian that stallworth hit in his car was crossing the street illegally, and stallworth wasnt driving particularly fast either. he was doing 50 in a 40. you people with drivers licenses never did 50 in a 40?

micheal vick faced hundreds of charges of animal cruelty, racketeering, money laundering, running an illegal gambling operation, perjury for lying about it. stallworth stayed at the scene of the crime, didnt resist arrest or sobriety tests in any way, reached a plea bargain with the court and the victim's family. its an unfortunate accident where 2 people were in the wrong place at the wrong time. while vick had the prior intent and the knowledge he was breaking the law. look at the case of dany heatley, when he crashed his ferrari while drunk and killed his teammate dan snyder. though he didnt get charged with vehicular manslaughter like stallworth because snyder knowingly got into the car with someone who was obviously too intoxicated to be driving, and he inherited the risk and responsibility that came along with it.

They should both get 10+ years...Stallworth apologizing and saying he didn't mean to do it isn't gonna bring the pedestrians life back and Vick is just a sick human who enjoyed watching dogs kill each other...Who knows how long he would have continued to kill dogs had he never been caught...Both got off easy

First off, Vick was not tried for just killing dogs. He was tried for being the ring leader of his illegal organized crime activity, which could have gotten him over 20 years. Killing dogs is not what he was sentenced for.

2nd, you have to first understand all the facts and circumstances that surround both incidents. Since you clearly do not know all the facts and circumstances of Vick's crime and what he was on trial for, I doubt you really know the facts and circumstances of Stallworth's incident. You can't form a solid intelligent opinion without first knowing the facts.

Lastly, your only support for your opinion id human life over a dogs life. Everyone knows there is far more value to human life over a dog's. But the facts and circumstances of each individuals incident are far different. One was an accident and the other was premiditated, with intent, and for pleasure. I hope you somehow see the difference.

Thumbs up to those who agree.

i hate when people mention the gambling side of vicks case.
he didnt need that money. he was a freakin pro-athlete, he let those dogs die cause he thought dog fighting was cool.
stallworth is a P.O.S. and should serve 8-10 years.

Yeah, but stallworth settled up with the man he killed family. Prolly threw alot of money at them. I guess since he did that then the family forgave and told the jury's not to punish him. But for the crime he has to get some jail time. So they made it the least amount possible.

stallworth is awesome, everybody likes donte stallworth, people expected vick to do that, but not stallworth, who is awesome
