Stage what?

If you intend on installing some slip-ons or whatever else exhaust setup, how do you know what jet kit to use?

Generally, a stage one kit is designed to compensate for a mildly upgraded exhaust. If you're doing a full system upgrade, you may need a stage 2. Really, each manufacturer has its own definitions of a "stage". You'll probably want to see what they suggest. If you happen to want an exhaust system that someone here has installed, you're good to go since they can tell you what works.

On your S50 you will not need a jet kit for slip ons, but you will probably have to adjust the mixture screws.
