What a surprisingly good film. I unwittingly started to watch it the other day when it was on BBC 2 and was taken a back by its quality. A rather interesting story brought to life with an excellent script and brilliant performances all round from a very English cast. And the slight bit of nudity on Clare Danes

yeah i really enjoyed it too it said it was on tv so soon after the cinema because it was part BBC funded, i preferred it to Shakespeare in Love whicj i likd but i havent seen it in a couple of years.Billy Crudip was great and deserves to be up for many awarRAB.
