Stacked female characters from children shows? Inappropriate?

I've been looking over this thread and I haven't got a clear answer. While I don't think it's that bad, I do think that it gives young males the wrong ideas about woman. If they see alot of cartoon woman with big boobs, they'll probably expect all woman to have big boobs. I don't have to tell you the zany situations that can come from that kind of thinking in the real world.

I'm on the fence with this one. While I don't think it's totally inappropriate, I DO think it should be done in moderation.

Tut, tut. GregX. Don't you know that if kids find out about boobs, they'll get hopped up on rap music and destroy western civillisation with their Pepsis and baggy pants?

(MOD EDIT: Er, no. No it really doesn't. At least, not if you're just posting these images for their own sake. If you want to make a point and need images to do it, though, feel free.)

As do I. However, in real life, most women who have bigger chests also have bigger waists. Whereas in animation somehow women with tiny waists have huge breasts. Women like that are somewhat rarer.

since characters are built to be exaggerated. i dont find it wrong.
its when they get ridiculous, thats when it gets annoying. when a show goes out of its way to shove it in your face.
like making it the main purpose of the characters existing is the fact that they have a figure and large breast.

everyone cant be flat chested. and children dont notice the comical nor sexual purposes of large breast on a character.

this is unless the creators and animators WANT people to notice.

You see, I hate fan service. Because it makes me cringe and want to punch a baby or something.

But on the other hand, I have this friend, and she's very well endowed. And you know what I've kind of learned, society seems to hate women with big breasts. Its funny how you see feminists fighting for equality, but they seem to give the message that big breasts are bad, and maybe women that are naturally well endowed should feel bad about this fact.

Now I know that's not what they're really going for. They're trying to push equality and say women aren't sex objects. Which I can totally agree with, but MY GOD! There are so many women that constantly make me think, women are such shallow and vain creatures, how can they ever expect to really get equality.

Anyway, like many other pointed out. I honestly didn't get breasts when I was a kid. Now that I'm older, I do have to say, boobs are pretty awesome. But, that big breasts on cartoon characters is no different then seeing action heroes with a chiseled jaw line, and rippling muscles. That's just the way cartoons are. They're not suppose to be real. 'Cause real life is boring.

I've never had a problem with female characters having various breast sizes, in fact its only natural that they do. Hell, I always noticed Beast Wars Blackaracnia's rack.

Though, I'm having a hard time understanding why most female characters in American cartoons today have no cleavage. It looks odd, almost like they're flat chested from certain angles. Why?
