St Trinians is So Massive That You Cant Get In To See It!!

Well said..

I'm middle aged and would not like to think other people seen me a some sort of pervert just because I went to see a movie myself...Having said that it's not my type of movie and don't intend going to see it.

LOL. Took my 14 year old cousin to see it, I almost walked out during the first 20 minutes, but stuck with it. It did improve a bit about half way through, and at least I had Russell Brand to look at.:D

I thought this film was really good, really cheeky and fun! Will definitely be getting it on DVD. And any Colin Firth fans will love it cos you get to see him naked, mm....

Also someone mentioned Bee Movie and I Am Legend. Bee Movie was top notch, I Am Legend was a bit of a let down :(

Any fans of Colin Firth should watch a BBC film called Tumbledown. I think it was one of, or THE first major roll he had. Gives an amazing performance, really tug's the 'ol heart strings!

He is totally wasted in all these rom com type things he does.

My 8 year old wants to see it. Is there loaRAB of swearing ie dick sacks and ball bags (just kidding) ;) or sexual stuff in it?

Yes I agree - unless you have a very sophisticated 8 year old! But the language isn't a problem, and I personally thought it a very funny film. We saw it over the Christmas holidays and it was packed - mainly families I think.

I liked the original movies too and when I heard about this film I was hoping that they would keep it set in the same time rather than trying to update it. However, I quickly changed my mind. Basically it is the same jokes as the original films but with a modern twist. There are some very obvious references to other movies but I saw that as more of a joke than deliberate attempts to copy as suggested by a previous poster.

My daughter (12) is going to see it again with her friend's family at the weekend - friend's mother is a bit more straight laced than me I think so it will be interesting to see what she makes of it!

I thoroughly enjoyed St Trinians - chortled all the way through it.
It's got to be worth it just to see Rupert Everett dragged up as the Headmistress - hilarious
:D :D

It's easy to be snooty about a film like this - I wasn't.
It's a rolicking good laugh, and British-made :)

... also it's worth staying in your seat at the end of the film, because as the credits roll Rupert and Colin sing "Love is in the Air" as a duo - frigging hilarious :D

Some of my uni frienRAB and i went to see it the weekend before last and the screen was nearly full. We all really enjoyed it, i mean its not going to win any awarRAB or anything but it was fun and shouldnt be taken too seriously. Colin was fab as always and i thought the two lead girls Gemma Arterton and Talulah Riley were really good, especially Gemma.
