St Trinian's 2

The first film was a pleasant surprise; I was forced into watching it by a cousin and I found that t wasn't even nearly as bad as I though it would be.
I can't decide whether I want to see this one though; Gemma Arterton was pretty much the only reason as to why I agreed to watch the first one (after her amazing performance in Tess of the D'Urbevilles) and the clips I've seen of her in this film look pretty great, but I don't know if could put up with watching Sarah Harding and Talulah Riley... I don't know what it is about them, but they really irritate me!

Just seen the trailer. Can't wait too see it!

Ok Ok, it does look strangely similar to the first one, but i loved the first one and didn't take it seriously- which doesn't help if your one of those critical type people.

Just take the films with a pinch of salt, they are pretty funny and good. Can't wait! :D

All of the reviews I've read have been pretty terrible, but all of my frienRAB who have seen it (only one of whom is the type of teenage girl that you'd expect to love this kind of movie no matter what) have said that, although it's not without it's faults, it's definitely worth seeing.

I love the original films and was really looking forward to the remake. But I was so disappointed, I thought it was dreadful. It seemed quite dark and all the fun had been taken out of it. I can't believe they're making another one - I suppose it must have made some money but I can't think how.

I enjoyed it, probably on par with the first imo.
Good points: David Tennant (lol:D), the boys school, Plot was ok, just as funny as the previous one.
Bad points: Sarah Harding pretending to be a schoolgirl! (Not sure what she looked like but it wasn't a schoolgirl!)

Don't quite understand why the attack on Brand is necessary, he hadn't even been mentioned in the thread and no question had been raised about him. He is hardly damaged gooRAB and he was hardly terrible in the first film, but hey, each to their own.

I loved the 2007 film and went to see Friton's Gold yesterday. The plot was ridiculous but a lot of fun and made me laugh a lot throughout :)
Wouldn't bother with the film if you're too sensible though :)

Well, I finally got round to seeing it yesterday.

It was enjoyable, although not terribly funny, bit deadpan at times.

David Tennant was miscast as the villain though, he didnt look right for the part for me.

And, I was disappointed to see that the lovely Gemma Arteton was only in it for about 10 mins at the most.

Still, it was worth seeing, and the final scenes on the River Thames were quite well done.

Mind you, was lovely to see the girls again in short skirts and garters. :D:D:D
