I'm sure this film isn't perhaps many people's cup of tea, but the first film is one my many guilty pleasures, and i can't wait for the second to be released! :D

Although for a film that is released in less than a month, we've not had a single trailer for it nor any official stills, clearly Ealing Studios are not promoting the film! Does anyone know when the trailer is coming out or if indeed there will be one at all?

The first movie was good! Loved it. Infact, one of my faves from 2007. Darn, time flies.

Can't wait for this, any of the original cast still in it?

I enjoyed the first, it was a pleasant enough romp but I also thought it just wasn't very funny, and that was also the general critical consensus, so I hope they've taken that on board for the sequel.

iirc, the original was really rushed - the film had been given the green light for quite a while before production began but the script itself was knocked up just a couple of weeks before the shoot, which I suppose explains it's lack of real belly laughs.

Brand is damaged gooRAB now, he was terrible in the 2007 film, so I'd only go if he wasn't in it. And I've just seen that he isn't - but Dr Who, David Tennant is. So there is some hope for it.

The full title is The Legend of Fritton's Gold.

The 2007 was nowhere near as much fun as any of the original 4 movies with George Cole as Flash Harry and Alister Sim as the headmistress. There is no Flash Harry in the new movie, so they've neatly sidestepped the "Brand" stigma.

I really liked the last St Trinians film. Not too serious and pretty funny. Can't wait to see the 2nd

Although i didn't even know there was a 2nd movie until a saw a poster for it the other day. It's had hardly any promo and it's out in a few weeks!

I went today, although I was just going for Gemma Arterton (who must have about 5-10 minutes of screen time) it was very funny, and I actually preferred it to the previous one!

Plot is completly ridiculous but great entertainment.

Going to see it next week as well with some girls from work :D

Had a few hours spare this afternoon and although I didn't really want to watch it, nothing else is out this week (seen avatar)

I think the local school had broken up early for Christmas as there was at least 100 screeching screaming 11-15 year olRAB in the cinema all making a racket, thankfully they piped down once the film started! At one stage I thought I had walked into the casting for the 3rd movie such was the unruly behaviour!!

As for the film, was nothing special. A few laughter moments but quite bad overall.
