:lmao:

That WHOLE scene I can't watch just once. It is truly one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Everytime I watch the movie I start laughing since Kirby arrives at the cabin. Then I have to watch it like 10 times. :D

I don't cry at the end, but there's this feeling of loss when Billy leaves. Being in your 20s is confusing and people start growing apart, and everything changes. You're an adult now! Or.. You're expected to become one at some point.

This movie, while not a masterpiece, really portrays that in a way that at least to me, rings true. Especially Billy not being able to let go of his college experience. I'm kinda going through that right now. It's a tough time. And we thought being a teenager was hard.

i almost went and rented this last night. i wonder if blockbuster even has it? i guess i could just order it off amazon or something....

"Kevin! I broke your shower!" is one of my favorite moments in the movie! It's so cute, and I love how they both react with laughter and amusement! :D Such a cute moment!

I don't know. Was it? It might have been said on the commentary, but it's been a while since I've listened to it.

I really liked Leslie. She was such a rare female in the middle of a love triangle. I never thought she lead either of them on. And, I adored how at the end, when she wanted to choose herself and be on her own for awhile, she actually did that...didn't just say it, and end up with someone else, like so many do.

the prat pack!!!!
i always cry in the end!!!
THE PASSION BURNS DEEP!!!!
THEY THOUGH THEY COULD BE FRIENDS FOREVER BUT FOREVER COULDN'T LAST!!!

That reminds me, I thought it was so adorable how Kirby knocked the boyfriend's pjs on the floor, after she'd offered them to him.

Thanks!

Ohh, right! Kirbo! :yay: I love him, he's such an optimist and a relentless romantic. LOL I'm obsessed, thank you very much! He's also a really good friend.

I know. And their passionate love making. I especially loved their shower scene. How adorable was that? I love every time she goes 'Kevin! I broke your shower!' - and he's just laughing. So cute!

Ohhh ... I love this movie. I think I'v seen every Rob Lowe, Brat Pack film, that ever made.

I always thought Judd Nelson was cute in this one. I adore him as Bender, but he was cuter in this. I love his smile. It was wierd seeing him and Ally Sheedy play a couple, cause of how opposite they were in The Breakfast Club.

I really liked Kevin too. It was nice how Leslie was finally able to know just how he'd felt about her all along.

Yes, omg, I adored Wendy going "Oh god" as well, that was just so perfect! And then the forehead kiss he gives her at the very end, so damn sweet!

I loved Kevin's moments with Naomi as well.

Kevin: How come you've never asked me if I wanted a date.
Naomi: Because I thought you were gay.

Poor Kevin, everyone thinking he was gay.

Did you like Kevin and Leslie?

Aww, adorable caps. :sigh:

So funny you mention that, 'cause Kevin's my other alter ego in this movie, right down to his writing and being secretly in love with his best friend. But that leads me into Kirby, I'm a bit of him too - the hopeless romantic part.

Aw, that was nice. I LOVED LOVED LOVED when Wenday was like "Oh God" :rotfl: I bet she was thinking, "what in the hell am I doing??"

Oh and weren't the Kevin scenes with Naomi a riot!! I always go back and watch those scenes over and over again! I love whe she waits for his reply once she offered her services and he blushed and just said, "food for thought" and she just laughed.

Also, when he's returning home and Naomi sees him and teases him, "hi, secret love" :rotfl:

Woah there are wendy billy shippers on this thread now this is my kind of thread i love those too together they have sweet moments in the film as opposed to the crumbling lives of the others.
