St elmos fire and other 80's films

hearing the song i always thought he was american, because of the way he sings etc, likewise david coverdale from whitesnake and deep purple from yorkshire too

Heathers is a better portrayal of high school dystopia and has some amazing quotes too!
 
Well, pretty much ALL the John Hughes and Brat pack ones have been mentioned along with Heathers (my favourite film ever!), Gremlins, Say Anything, Stand By Me, Top Gun but I'd like to add Dream A Little Dream and The Lost Boys (I am a huge Corey/Corey fan!)
 
Can't believe Hear No Evil See No Evil hasn't been mentioned yet, the scene where Pryor discovers he's black always cracks me up! :D
