I was denied by the ALJ Judge. My attorney was not on the ball. I wanted to change attorneys before filing to the court of appeals but my parents who are in control right now because I am dependent on them right now,,, wouldn't let me. So my attorney filed an appeal to the courts on the last day (he waited on the 60th day). It was a 2 page letter that was very simple. There was so much more he could've stated as I also have new medical evidence. He just basically cited that it should be reconsidered b/c there was no vocational expert at the hearing.
Question: I want a new attorney. What are the chances of another attorney taking this case at this point or could I just take the case over myself? This attorney has been a nightmare, He never takes my calls or returns my calls, I only talk to his assistant who is absolutely clueless.
