Squeeky softkeys on N73

What could I do to fix that? One of the softkeys is squeeky when I press it down. Should I take the N73 apart and maybe clean it inside or..

Gimme some suggestions!

I have this problem too with the top right softkey. I've noticed it only happens when the phone is warm, in my pocket or in direct sunlight for example. I think its poor build quality thats the problem here.

Yeah my month old N73ME is suffering from the squeaks as well. Sounds like my old SE T616 from yesteryear.

Crappy build quality is annoying, but I'm willing to live with it.

I got a MIF E61 that squeaks a lot when it's very cold. Though when it's hot, the keypad is incredibly smooth

it squeaks because you are squeezing the camera lens cover on the back as you press the button. I have the same problem.

No, it squeaks because it just freakin squeaks. I took my camera cover off and pressed the soft key just to make sure and it squeaks.

Crappy quality, horrible plastics, squeaks and creaks like it's a new craze.

when i changed my housings nothing squeaked or creaked it became lighter and stronger

It's probably becuase there is a screw almost underneath the right soft key. Try tightening that up, that might help.

So you would recommend opening the phone up? That's what I was thinking, but wasn't sure if it would do any good. Maybe I'll pop out the keypad and see what's going on in there.

If you can avoid opening the phone, don't! Taking off the faceplate and then putting it back on just made mine creak even more.
