My girlfriend's car recently started making a noise in the front left end. It's rather odd, not an engine squeal. The noise itself sounds like the noise made by squealing the air out of a balloon by squeezing the opening. But, it sounds rotational. It only starts around 25-30 miles per hour, and gets higher and louder the faster you go. When you slow down below 30, it goes away. I thought it was in the tire itself, but rotating them left the squeal in the front left side. Any ideas?
Actually thought about something stuck....sounded like a squirrel screaming. Since we have a pet squirrel in our yard, was hoping it wasn't him.

It does crack a little when the wheel is turned all the way....so I'll have to look into some of the bearings. Thanks.

if it is the v6 engine it sounds like the cam Sensor ,it is located in middle part of the engine close to were the transmission and the engine meets. it sits where the distributor would seat. it looks like a round circle about 2 inch's round and has a eclectically connector going to it and has a hold down bolt to secure it to the engine block. i ran into this noise before

Couple things
1. Front wheel bearing/see #4
2. Brake wear indicator(less than 1/8" pad left
3. wheel covers..but rotating the tire should have changed the squeal
4. could be the half shaft on the left side, does it click when you turn full left.
That's about all the rotating parts up there.
