squeaky brakes on bike?

im kind of in the middle of getting my bike tuned up. I got nice tires, and i have those on, got a new axle, (which i had broken), oiled the chain, adjusted the gears (because it was refusing to go in to 3rd, so my bike is perfect now! except for one thing. my brakes are load and squeaky, and they have a pretty bad vibration.......so i need to know how to make them not load and squeaky, and make them not vibrate. should i get new brakes? how much are they?
