i have just bought the car about a month ago for $3900 with 145k on it once when changing the oil when first purchased my friend got a little oil on the belt to the right of the engine after that it squeaked then it went to when it only first started then went away and now it just squeaks all the time do you think that is the cause of the squeaking or could it be the timing belt/ water pump like someone else i know told me? how can i check? and does anyone know if i could till if the belt/ pump have been replaced without ripping the engine apart?
