Sprinting the 100m,200m this year but nervous beacuse of having to compete with

people who were slower than me? Im so nervous about sprinting this year at my team tryouts, i was first in my team last year but am afraid i wont be able to defend that title. There are a few sprinters nearly as fast as me in my team, how can i train to asure that i am still faster than them. This nervousness happened after i lost a friendly race to 1 of my opponents (slower than me before) on the road in my neighbourhood. What should i do to stop this? I hate having to defend titles. Plus, what training should i do? I still have 6 months before sports day.
I havent train much for the past few months .
My 100m time is around 15s-16s (quite inconsistent) on muddy grass.

BTW, when i raced with my friend/opponent that time i just got out of bed (not warmed up) while she already sprinted a few times. Do you think it was the reason for my defeat or just an excuse to comfort myself? Do i really have to pick myself up?
