Sprinting after injury?

hey guys...coming back from an injury here. just wanted some advice in getting back to sprinting after about four months. the doctors THINK I tore my hamstring, glute, or ligaments in my right leg. (I have braces, so I couldn't get an mri.) I'm still sliiiiightly injured, I can jog, but sprinting is a bit tough because of the strength indifference. Also, after I sit down from any time of 10 minutes on, my right leg begins to hurt. If it makes the strength difference any clearer, on my left leg, I can do one leg squats with ease--on my right, I can't even get half way down the first squat. Any advice on trying to strengthen my right leg back into shape before the track season?
