sprint v3m to cricket

hello i would please like some information. i flashed a sprint v3m with the cricket monster pack. it says that my nuraber is 0000000000, the ota *228 does not work and there is no service.i typed the 74663#clr,clr and put the sprint nuraber in the min for the phone so it says in the menu.

I did that and the *228 and when it starts to activate the phone some it will say it could not activate the phone. i used the cricket ckt_v3c_09.02.00r_prIii57147 monster pack for the phone.
 
So the phone specifically says "NO SERVICE" without any bars?

If this is the case, you need to reflash the phone. The Sprint V3m's I get, I flash to Verizon first then to Cricket and it works everytime. I am not sure why it only works that way but it does.

Another problem may be if you look at the ESN and notice a MEID that will cause some problems as well on a V3m. I don't know of anyone that has successfully flashed a MEID V3m phone to Cricket service.
 
hello thank you for the reply. i flashed to verizon first sort of, there was the signal and battery meter on the top but it would not shut off until i took the battery from the phone. so i then flashed to cricket and it works good but there is no signal and it says no service for the phone.
 
Try using the VRZ_V3m_01.05.0AP_PRIii33163_MONSTER_01 then the Cricket CKT_V3c_09.02.00R_PRIii57147_MONSTER_01.shx. They have to be those particular ones to get it to work. You can find those on www.mobile-files.com.

Also, double check to make sure it is not a MEID ESN. You can do this by looking underneath the battery. If it is a MEID, it is difficult, if not impossible to get it to flash to Cricket.
 
Master reset or Master clear isn't going to do anything for you in this situation. It is one of two things:

The phone is a MEID phone like I said in a previous post or you need to flash with the monster files I provided.
