I just ran across this today and it seems to work. All credit to Derek_H_2007
at hacktherazr.com because i'm just re-writing this for readability. I'm assuming you already know how to flash a monster pack with either RSDLite or PST.
http://www.hacktherazr.com/forumwap/viewtopic.php?t=7043&sid=d12c14a80a5e90400ae88d14a726f34c

Needed Programs:
Motorola PST or RSDLite

Needed Files:
"ALT_V3M_01.1A.00R_PRIkk27390_MONSTER_01.shx"
"SPR_V3M_00.43.00R_PRIkk76655_MONSTER_01.shx"
Firmware of choice that you want to end up with. For the sake of argument we'll use "CKT_V3c_09.02.00R_PRIii57147_MONSTER_01.shx"

WARNING: As with ALL flashing, this procedure could potentially BRICK your phone and render it unusable. I have successfully followed this without any problems.

How to Flash Sprint V3m:
I did each step in bootloader mode:

  1. Start Flashing the Alltel firmware. Unplug the USB cable when you get to Flashing Code Group 2 1%
  2. Start the flash to the Sprint firmware. Pull the USB cable when it gets to Flashing Code Group 2 1%
  3. Start the flash to the Cricket Firmware. Let it complete. It will fail. Reboot the phone you should have Icons at the top for battery, et. al. Reboot to Bootloader mode.
  4. Flash to Cricket again. Flash should be successful.

wow- i just flash the alltel v3m...it fails once...i reboot ad it flashes 100%...this works for me everytime...i have also done this with the cricket v3c and it still just takes two flash attempts in most cases...

seems we are reinventing the wheel here. :D

I have yet to run into a razr that i could not flash with out ease this is new.. Sometimes it would fail the first time no biggie. I put it in bootloader mode manually and flash away..

i have to red sprint razrs that i tried to just flash....what would happen is that it would fail...and the keyboard back light would come on but the screen would be black..and the computer would never pick it up

well i had to come across this because i had one yesterday that failed on me 19 times. I almost wish I had taken a screen shot cause i was getting super pissed. I tried alltel and verizon V3m and V3c and cricket v3c and generic v3m multiple times. I couldn't even get it back to sprint V3m. I had to use this method to get it out of it. This was the first one that i was really stuck on, I've done about 10 or so sprint v3m and this was the first one i couldn't get going after 2-3 flashes.

so this may not be necessary all the time, but if you are stuck you might want to try this.

i did have both a verizon and a sprint v3m for the same customer that failed on me like 10-20 times each...took me like 5 hrs to flash them...i was so pissed as was the guy i said "like 10 minutes each" to...lol...i did enevtually fix them, but as i recall i tried a few different firms multiple times and it eventually took...maybe i did pretty much waht this guid is saying, only i took the looooooooooooong way around.

What seems to do the trick for me with every razr that fails the first time (mainly sprint but have done it on a verizon and a few ampd) is after it fails disconnect it from the cable, take the battery out, pop it back in, turn the phone on and it will turn on and display a black screen with the little battery and signal syrabols and thats it. Then connect the phone again to the usb cable and try again. Ive never had to try more than once. It always works on the second try. Except for them couple times before I figured this out.

yeah...it seems this guid is for the ones that don't work that way...maybe they all work that way, b/c i have had none take more than two attempts since i started doing that...i actually take the battery out, reboot it, and then take the battery out again and put it in bootloader. :D

Hey thanx for everyone's help and time. Sorry I made another tread about this couple day's ago. But pagerdaddy it worked like a charm. Did 3 today and had no problems at all to get these to work. I appreciate everything. For the help on the Sprint v3m's. Also want to thank Simple3 for his method as well. Which by the way did also work. Thanks for all the hard work everyone on this site does and time and effort they put into making this the best forum.
