Sprint Touch Pro to Cricket las vegas problem

Okay, here I go after 4 days of searching, downloading, testing, trial and errors. I have given up my gaming time to figure this out.

i have a kyocera S1300 from cricket. i bought a Sprint Touch pro to hopefully flash it to cricket. I live in las vegas (i read something about AWS Markets).

This is what i've done so far with no success.

1. i have followed ISRIAM's guide to unlocking and flashing touch pro.
http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1497899
a. MDN is my phone nuraber and the MIN i have on my sign up sheet/receipt.
b. i used the SID that i see in my kyocera phone.
c. i used a prl that I downloaded here somewhere that is 04299 which is the same in my kyocera phone.
d. i followed the security and MIP settings
e. i did the HarRABPL reset. (showed CMONEX)

After all this, when I type 611 or *228 i get "welcome to the american roaming network". So I persevered... Tried alot of different PRLs. i get verizon sometimes when it should be a cricket PRL. some PRLs don't catch any signal.

2. i installed a rom from Isriam v.4.30

3. i followed the Cricket PST setting by Ryan Mogul step by step. i triple checked everything.

Now I get a "your account could not be activated. please contact customer service" (doesn't say verizon, sprint or cricket) when calling outbound to 611 or *228. At least its not American Roaming Network but is still in roaming mode.

I tried a metroPCS PRL once and gave me verizon.

:reallysad
So now i'm out of ideas. i can't even get it to say "welcome to cricket". I've been searching the forums with no luck. What am I missing or doing wrong?

Is it because I'm in VEGAS?
Am I using the wrong PRL?
Do I have to upgrade my Radio?
Do I need to call up cricket through phone and transfer my acount and give my ESN?
Am I not suppose to copy my SID from my kyocera S1300?

Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry for the noobishness.

You are in a AWS market so you are going to have problems activating the phone you won't be able to do *228 since your phone can't see the AWS signal.

Plus if you do get the phone activated you will only have talk and text since you will be "roaming" on Sprint which only allows talk and text.

I have read someone else got a flashed phone to work in an AWS market.

I am very interested in this, especially in the Las Vegas area and would be willing to help you try to get it work.

PM me if you are interested.

Hmm... yah that's what I figured. I'm going to persevere though. I'm going to try and use RAPHIMG 4.5 rom and see how that works.

Even if I can't get the data to work, atleast I'd still like to get talk and text unlimited on a touch pro for 30 bucks. And I don't have to carry around a crappy S1300. Hehe!

I'll post here the results of my venture.

Proposed actions to take...

1. Using RAPHIMG.nbh as a rom (read it was a cricket rom out of the box).

2. Wait for my microB USB cable to arrive to connect my S1300 and get my PRL there (hope its plug and play cause I don't know where to get the driver for the kyocera).

3. Call cricket to connect my phone to the ESN of my Touch Pro and hope for the best and keep trying different configurations for data to work.

You can use the epst program on the phone, QPST, CDMA WS or many other PST's to make the change. But really what does it have to do with a Sprint Touch Pro to cricket in Las Vegas problem?
