Sprint to Cricket: Flashed Phone Internet Problem

Hello everyone! I have a question about my flashed Sprint phone.

It's an LG Rumor, and it was previously used on the Sprint network. I decided to use Cricket. I found a shop to flash my phone, and it turned out just like I wanted it to be.

But...

The phone didn't include internet or picture messaging.

I asked the guy about it, and he said that for $25 he would set it up for me. And of course, me being the cheap person I am, I asked him if I could do it at home. He said yes, but didn't give me a name for a software.

So, is there a software I could put on it... or am I doomed to internet-lessness forever?

Non-PDA Sprint hanRABets differ in the way they are provisioned for WAP, and thus far, no one has found a way to get WAP working on them.

You could try, however.
 
Wap is known possible on the LG Scoop ax260 which is the same thing as the rumor is just the Alltel version of it, as far MMS theres few people working on that right now...
Flash it to Alltel ;)
 
mrcricket beat me to it, but would some kind, nice, funny, awsome person, who has the alltel bin pm me? lol i been trying get it for awhile, i always miss out tho when they get posted :P
 
Dude, be careful.....the LG Rumor was my first brick EVER (just a few months ago)!

I was trying to flash the Sprint model to Alltel. The thread is floating around here somewhere.

I wouldn't suggest it..........be sure to do your research first if you insist!
 
I heard that too, and i have heard also that it is possible however seeing that i dont have the files etc i wont be able to try it out.

i wonder how the LG people do it, but heck they have all the tools.

ive flashed two of them already hadnt had any isssues.. well i take that back i did have 2 issues one was blank esn (just wrote it back) and two was counlt catch any signal (wrote scr file back to the phone) and then it was good..
Got them sitting under my desk right now, work in process as far mms but too lazy to "borrow" someones account right now i need to though.

Would like to explain what precudre you used as it seems everyone is bricking the rumor..
I have yet to try myself.
Just wondering if you just used update or emergency flash.
