Sprint: Palm Pixi or new HTC Evo?

i REALLY want the evo but it's $150 & $10 extra a month for data plan (since my parents already have one) and the pixi is $50 flat. i'm hearing so many great things about the Evo and i don't know what to pick. reviews on the Palm Pixi? thoughts on the HTC Evo (since it hasn't come out yet)? i think i may be able to squeeze ten bucks a month out of my parents but i don't have $150 just laying around for this. thanks in advance!
