Sprint on iPhone 4(Verizon)?

Hi I'm with Sprints family plan. My phone right now, is kinda rusty and it's starting to fall apart on me. I'm looking to buy a new phone and would like to try the iPhone 4(Verizon), since I heard that you can unlock it and it running on Sprint. But I don't know if this is just scam, or a rumor. So I would like to hear how you guys think about this.

Why would u want an iPhone? Its outdated by 1 year old hardware and is still the most expensive phone.. $300.00 for 32gb memory? Try android phones,htc thunderbolt, samsung galaxy 2, evo 3D, Motorola atrix 4g, are all better than iPhone.
 
No you can't. Sprint though it is also a CDMA carrier uses different technology/frequencies which makes a Verizon iPhone 4 on their network impossible.
Thing is though, the next iPhone is most likely going to be made for T-Mobile & Sprint to cover the 4 (for now) major carriers. It may come out next month or as late as September.
 
no, i dont believe you can unlock it. Sprint uses SIM cards. Verizon (Droid 2 Global the exception) does not. Plus the iphones case does not open to even access a SIM card if there was one.
