I just returned from my SPRINT hearing test and scored in the 23rd percentile. I have less than 18 years of service, but hearing loss is service related and documented. I have been able to find information to obtain my percentile based on the number i got correct and the 5 categories which will aide the MMRB in deciding weather i have to re-class or will be separated all together. what i can not find is the chart that places you into a category since it is based on your percentile and years of service.
I am a former 0331 currently serving as a scout in the reserves. Is my 23% going to force me out of combat arms? or out of the military all together? and does anyone know where i can find these charts that determine category placement?
