Springfield or Shelbyville?

Which of these fictional towns from the Simpsons would you rather live in?

I kind of like to be a Shelbyville citizen for these reasons.

Shelbyville has a theater district.

Shelbyville has a better hospital and a better school principal named Principal Valiant who cares about his students and their education.

Shelbyville has McDonald's restaurants which Springfield has never heard of.

Springfield was declared the meanest town in America, so Shelbyville might not be so bad.

More disasters seem to happen in Springfield than in Shelbyville.

Well, I'd say Springfield is a great foundation for the quirky characters of The Simpsons universe. The town is flawed and can be quite wacky, but Springfield presents perhaps one of the first more realistic universes in television then some other T.V. universes as it does show that it's not perfect. So to answer your question already, Springfield is my choice, it sounds like a fun place to live.

Plus, I don't want to live in a town that encourages you to marry your cousin. :p

Springfield since Shelbyville is a copycat of Springfield (with the Kwik E Mart style Speed E Mart and the similar Moe's Tavern called Joe's Tavern as seen in the 1995 Simpsons episode where Shelbyville kids took away the Springfield Lemon Tree).
