I have decided to spray the centre console on my car, it looked terrible it was some kind of rubberised paint that has been peeling off. I have so far used various sand paper grades ( 150 grit - 2000 grit) paper to get it to a smooth finish.
I have brought spray plastic adhesion promoter/primer, flat black spray paint. I want to add a protective coating which one would be best?
I don't really want to ruin it by putting the wrong kind of clear coat on, do i need one especially for plastic?
I have painted a test piece, the ash tray cover and it looks like brand new. But think definatley needs some kind of coating to protect it
