Spray Painting Hockey Stick?

Ok well i want to spray paint my 3 year old Synthesis For ball hockey and yes in a league

Is there away to have the paint not rub off onto my gloves seeing as if it actually does rub off my thought is that it wont since when u say paint plastic once it dries it wont rub off even if wet
