I have had a sacroiliac sprain for the last six months.

After 2 months of trying to get a doctor to take my pain seriously (they didn't) I ended up going to a chiro. He took x-rays and from the x-rays it was apparent what the problem was. Then I went to see a osteopath. I have gotten two mris. No major problems. Only a sprain. He told me to continue with the chiro. For the last four months I have improved significantly. However,

1.) Four months still in pain. Not as much as there is slow improvement. Most people that get a sprain are better in two months with rest. I fear that this will become an ongoing thing?

2.) My leg lengths are still messed up. Will this go away? I am walking like a granny. I am only 26.

3.) My left (short) leg feels like its barely attached.. Is this weird? It makes it hurt to walk and my left knee cracks all the time. I've been encouraged to continue life as usual but I'm depressed and in pain so I just lay down and do nothing. How am I supposed to do this without making things worse? Like messing up my knee?

4.) Will I ever feel normal again or is this going to be my life now? When does this sort of thing cross the line of becoming an ongoing thing? I need to hear that someone has fully recovered from this injury. As it stanRAB I haven't heard of anyone that has and I'm very afraid.

Help........
