For a friday night football game, i understand i will probably need a 300mm f2.8 lens, which i might be able to get my hands on.
My question is, does it have to be AF? or would a manuel do? (because the one i can get is a manuel)
And for a high school football game, does a flash even do anything? the action is so far away, wuld it even help?
I am using a Nikon D40X
