The health care industry is something I long to be apart of with every fiber of my being. For some reason I found sports medicine very intruiging. I know it is a challenging field that requires an exessive amount of time, and dedication, so please save the lecture. I just would like to know if I could pursue a career in sports medicine internationally. I ask this because I aspire to major in Italian Studies. Foriegn culture fastinates me. I believe there is always room for improvement, change and growth. I think learning about a foreign place, as well as it's customs and traditions would be a highly profound, as well as beneficial experience. So therefore I hope to double major in Sports Medicine and Italian Studies. I know they don't necisarily go hand in hand but I am determined to make it work! These are two things I love and I do NOT want to choose. I think it would be awesome to move to Italy either permanently or temporarily. However I am not sure if this would be possibly. Once I am registered in the US as a sports medical physicial does this mean I can not take my work to other countries? And even if this were possible would the salary be very low? Someone told me that american physicians make about 220k a year, whereas Europeans make about 80k a year, is this true? Ughhh, please help me!!!
