Sports Injury, Need Help!?

I am doing a tag rugby tournament tomorrow and my knee and ankle hurt like mad they have been hurting for a long time because i do a lot of athletics, it is the back of my heel and my knee cap! I Have to do the tournament no question about it, does anybody have any suggestions of what i could do? Otherwise does anybody have any massage moves or exercises to help my injury?

What you need is a balance of cool and warm treatment. If you have any, pour a reasonable amount of Epson salt into a very warm (but not uncomfortable) tub. Sit there for a while and allow your body to take in the comfort.

While in the tub, bend your knee slightly. It will hurt, but that's good. Then lift your leg and sway your foot so that some pressure goes to your ankle. Massage for about ten minutes.

Now, as many will probably say, you should definitely put an ice-pack or a bag of ice (or a bag of frozen peas, whatever!) on your knee and ankle.

Take it off after about ten minutes and massage. Then place it back and keep this up.

Take some Aleve in the morning to reduce pain as well.
