I'm a 15 year old male and I had a laproscopic appendectomy 5-6 weeks ago. I wrestle and have intense preseason workouts. I waited about three weeks after my surgery to start them. A few days after I started running, I had a slight pain in my inner thigh or testicles. It was a weird pain and it was hard to tell what was actually hurting. I continued to run and workout, but the pain got worse, to the point were it hurt to walk and run. After the pain started hurting alot, a pain developed in my lower abs close to were my appendix was. It hurt worse when I coughed but I had no bulges or anything. My mom googled it and thought I had a sports hernia because it seemed like I had all the symptoms. I went to the doctor and he never said what it was that I had but he had me do an ultrasound which came up negative and said to rest for 3-4 weeks and it should go away. Ive read that only surgery can fix sports hernia. Is this true and is this what you think I have? I also get a sharp, intense, shooting pain from time to time just sitting at my desk. It feels like its getting worse and I need some answers. Any advice or answers will be greatly appreciated.
