Ok so im a teenager and im getting almost up to graduating pretty soon. Im in 2 days will be 7 weeks. Nobody knows becuz my parents would flip.

Anyways i hear that its good to exercises while pregnant. Well, i do cross country (intense running) and conditioning has started and if i dont do it my mom will think something is up and i really dont want her to know yet not for a while at least.

I ran on Monday, the first day of practice, for an hr and it was a good 5 miles uphill and everything. I dont know if i should continue this or not. Everything felt all right when i was running no pains or anything and i tried to drink as much as possible since i dont want to become dehydrated so...is it okay for me to continue my running? I probbaly run anywhere between a 6.0-9.0 mph.

I am no expert but I don't think it's a good idea for you to be running like that. That's a lot of shaking activity going on at that speed. You need to be very careful and see a doctor right away. You should be taking vitamin and mineral supplements as this is a very important daily intake for mother and child. You should find out a way in telling your parents but most importantly see a doctor right away. Maybe tomorrow would be a good day to see your doctor. I can't tell you how to go about in telling your mother but it would be a great idea to do so but think it out first how you'd do it.

you should not be running for too much longer, I am at 8 weeks and my dr. said to try to take it easy. I think that for right now, you're okay but just watch how you are pushing yourself.

I am really happy to see that youare trying to take care of yourself, you should be very proud of yourself for that as you are very young still. The one thing you should have great concern for is that you have not yet told your parent(s)... I think that you need to be honest with your mom; tell her that this is a happy accident (if it was) and that you need her support in this. If you are still with the boy, I would speak with him first to figure out what you two will do and everything, make sure that you two make arrangements for the babys best interest before spilling the beans. Email me if you would like to talk, k?? (I'm 25 years old, with a 23 year old boyfrien and I am currently 8 weeks)
