Sport specific training for martial arts ( plyometics/power)?

I am looking to see if anyone has some good pointers on building explosive power for martial arts. I picked up many things from my years in track field events, football and wrestling. I am well aware of box style plyometcis, power clings ect. Is there anything else out there that might be better for martial arts in particular?
I have been doing a little reading on kettle bell training. Can anyone indicate if kettle bells are especially helpful in martial arts?

My current discipline of focus is TKD. For a variety of reasons I have learned but fell short of black belt in a few systems.

I already stand out among my training partners in terms of athletics and skill. I just need to get to the next level of strength and power.

Thanks

It sounds like you already know quite a bit about plyometrics. Leapfrogs and running stairs definitely helped increase the speed and power of my kicks. One exercise that also helped me was weighted knee lifts. Put 10-15 pounds of ankle weights on one leg, then while standing raise your knee as fast as you can (as if you were doing a knee strike). Do sets of 10. This will speed up the chambering phase of your kicks. You can also strap 5 pound ankle weights on your wrists and shadowbox - that will speed up your punches.
