Spore Question: Whenever I attempt to go into Civilization Mode, my computer...

...shuts the game down! HELP!? I didn't mod it or anything, and the game works perfectly well on my bro's laptop. And, I have gone into Civ before! But now I can't! After I make my vehicle, press the checkmark, there is a sytem message saying: SPORE needs to shut down. I am really angry!
