Spoked wheel cleaning. Problem Solved.

I've finally found the combination of tools for cleaning spokes, a pack of super fine steel wool, a can of CRC Brakleen, a 12 pack of your favorite brew, and half a box of bandaids. I tried all the wonder cleaners and nothing seem to touch the brake gunk. Are all brake pads this messy or just the stock pads? My next bike will NOT have spoked wheels. Does anyone make mags for the S50?

No one makes mags for the S50/ Intruder 800- not only is the rear a funny size, but the shaft drive means any wheel developed for it would not fit any other bike. So it is not worth it for the aftermarket so develop them.
The old Intruder 700 (mid 80s) came with snowflake mag wheels, which are a direct bolt on for your spokes. But they are hard to find an kind of expensive if you do.

I've never had any brake dust from my brakes. Can't say it's been easy to get between the spokes though.
