SPOILERS Star Wars episode III (what do you think)

ROTS probably represents a high water mark in terms of Star Wars acting - thanks to Ian McDirmid, who basically carries the film.

But did you see Natalie Portman? Granted, she's given terrible dialogue but her performance was dire. Utterly dire.

erm...these scene wipes were in the original star wars movies, so im sure lucas put them in to make them in the same style

idve liked to see your video camera have scene wipes like this 30 years ago

We're talking spoilers right? ;)

Some nice "tying up the loose enRAB" moments:
Obi Wan picking up Anakin's/Darth's lightsabre (to give to Luke later)
C-3PO getting his memory wiped (so he didn

'Don't pray'? Are you sure. I can't agree with this as the CGI was excellent.

I did get quite bored of the lightsaber fights and I certainly thought the final one was a confusing mess at times. I'd agree with you here.

Well the power of Vader's anger did make the room shake and stuff blow up. I thought his dialogue about Padme and comedy 'NOOOO!' made him look like a bit of a wuss.

I think that was the point though. We're now supposed to see Vader as a sad, pathetic man - rather than the epitome of bad ass evil.

Throughout the PT he's been playing Alec Guinness playing Obi Wan. This was his best effort so far. It wasn't great but IMHO it was serviceable and I thought he carried the final scene with Anakin quite well.

The view was fine, it was the film that blew.

So Lucas was making the film based on film-making techniques available 30 years ago? So why all the CGI? Why not a little rubber Yoda? The whole film smacked of a great idea with no delivery.

Thank God they've finished. Stars Wars 1977 was great, why ruin it with embellishment.

I prefer to spell it sabre as a homage to correct use of the English language. You'll grant me that surely.

One example of bad CGI, the wookies jumping down placing the mines and jumping off, looked like a child had done it.

He's certainly had acting lessons since episode II. I think Ian Mcdiarmid's performance was great, and also Ewan Mcgregor's. in fact they were all good (most of the time)
