Spoiler Alert:don't Read If Planning To Watch Saw

I guess adding Danny Glover to the cast who happens to be a well known actor.This would attract public intrest in the movie.

As for his part in the movie it wasn't exactly a great performance it was ok.I didn't leave the cinema thinking that Danny Glover was excellent in the movie.

But in saying that i thought the movie was pretty good & clever

I agree, did zep not say something nice about jigsaw to the doctor in one of the flashbacks?. I remember in the hospital, the doctor being very arrogant and zep almost standing up for jigsaw though I can't remember the exact context.

The end of this film really annoyed me, how could anyone fake death for 6 hours? Even if he was sedated with the same drug he used on that other victim he would not of been able to push the buzzer in his hand. The whole scenario with Adam and the doctor, what the hell did they do for 6 hours? sat around recounting tales of past. If it had been me I wouldn't of stopped trying to escape, they never even started.

If i remember correctly Zep interupts the Doctor when he is talking about Jigsaws case to the other Doctors & Zep says to the Doctor his name is John (refering to Jigsaw).

What do you mean they never even started to escape.They both tried using the Hacksaws to cut through the chain but quickly worked out the chain was too thick for the Hacksaw to go through.They shouted for help hoping somebody would hear them.They even pulled at the chain to see if it would give way from the pipe.So to say they never even started to escape is a bit of an understatement.
 
Personally, if I were in that situation, after discovering that I was tied securely and had no chance at all of getting out of the chains without sawing off my own leg, I would have tried to conserve energy too. Whats the point of struggling against metal chains or shouting yourself hoarse?? Especially when you have no food or water. The most sensible course of action would be to sit down and calmly think about what to do.




When I started reading this thread I was beginning to think I'd watched a different version than some people - to me it was never even in doubt that Zep was with the family and didn't go to the sewer works until after the family escaped!!

As for Zeps poison, anyone know how long it takes a hospital to establish what a person has been poisoned with? Then they have to get the right antidote. If Zep was only given 6 hours until he'd be dead, theres every possibility that a hospital would not have been quick enough.
 
I'd agree with you there Purity.When gashead was asking those questions i was wondering if he had really seen the movie as it is pretty plain to see that Zep is with the family & the scene where Danny Gloves character is chasing Zep & the big sign that says Sewage Works is also abit of a giveaway where the 2 men are.
