Splitting Programmes

I have copy of EastEnders which I want to upload onto youtube but can't becasue there 30 minutes long. Does anyone know of free software which can split them down into 10 minute chuncks.

You can split it in an editor like movie maker or sony vegas and then export the smaller files.

Otherwise there are programs for precisely this job of which you can find countless if you google it, or try the easy splitter mentioned in this thread.

Also theres probably legal issues around uploading tv shows to youtube, even if there are a few tv shows/movies already on there.

Taking the DRM off and uploading them is illegal, but cutting them into chuncks isn't.
