Speaking" to preface offtopic humor? Is saying “Religiously” politically incorrect or something, while saying “Spiritually” is vagariously vague and thus acceptable?

I think you need to take your humour elsewhere.
Some of these so called Christians do not actually have a sense of humour. Sorry :)

They are being malicious and insulting to those with faith. They try to make an association that isnt there and they think its funny. Its childish and very typical of the atheistic bigot. Further, its abuse of the forum... as such so-called "questions" dont have anything to do with R or S in reality. And good luck getting them reported and deleted, since atheistic bigots are the ones that decide.

hey freind
i dont disagree with your statement but i know there are those that disagree with humorist perspectives that insult other peoples faiths.

this is wrong.

what is right is to teach the truth and repent if truth is not taught.

Have you ever heard the saying "religious propaganda"? The term is used when referring to acts that are in place because of religious views - views that have very little to do with faith in God and more to do with faith in man-made churches. So basically, in my opinion, the reason why people use the term "Religiously Speaking" is because the Church is often seen as a joke in non-religious circles - whereas the term "Spiritually Speaking" refers to something that you just know through faith. So the term "religiously speaking" is used when people are wanting to find answers to silly questions that are centered from the teachings of a Church - kind of like saying "the joke is on you". You will see a lot of questions on here that start "Spiritually Speaking", these questions usually lead to questions wanting an explanation about a lesson being taught by the Church.

Hope this helps.

Because that actually attracts a religious answer. Ask a stupid question with "Religiously speaking" and you'll get serious answers; ask one with "Spiritually speaking" and there will be serious answers, but not as many.

I think it's because all the funny atheists are put off by the word 'religiously' being used...

My guess is because Atheists/Agnostics aren't religious, but many say they are still spiritual. So "Spiritually Speaking" covers everyone.
