Spiritually speaking, isn't Rumi the best poet ever, hands down?

"You are the unconditioned spirit trapped in conditions, the sun in eclipse" -Rumi

"This is love: to fly toward a secret sky, to cause a hundred veils to fall each moment. First to let go of life. Finally, to take a step without feet. " -Rumi

....huh?
(spiritually speaking of course)
Aaah squishy: My brother who likes all things devilish has come to set me straight!
Myth Buster: I will go and research these two.
Pedestal: Yes, Kipling too is a genius.

Rumi is pretty good but not a hands down win at all. There is another spiritual poet called Tagore my guru often talks about and he is more interesting and has a lot more acclaim all over the world. He wrote poems, stories, plays and even songs.

Also in the overall scheme of things, a poet called Vyasa is considered the most celebrated spiritual author of all time .... saw it on Discovery. :)

Sorry, I'm a Kipling man.

They builded a tower to shiver the sky and wrench the stars apart,
Till the Devil grunted behind the bricks: "It's striking, but is it Art?"

A little to warm and fuzzy for me. I'm more into charge of the light brigade style..or, "Up, up in that tree, what do you see? Go dog, go, don't run so slow, do you like my hat?"
