spine?

Hi about 12 months ago my spine had a sore spot on the right side and it hurt when i turned my neck and it also felt like it clicked or pinched certain times when i moved my back. I also get shooting pains in the right side of my head and dizziness and also my jaw clicks on the right everytime i eat. I go to an osteopath and he cant feel anything wrong with my spine.I went for an mri scan but they only scanned my neck so i am worried now because its sore to touch on my spine but further down and they wont take me serious because they will just say i have had a scan.Does this sound like its my back thats causing these problems? any advice welcome x

If you have a primary care physician that won't listen call your insurance company (I assume in UK it would be contacting NHS) and see if you can refer yourself to an orthopedic spine surgeon. If you can, call them and say "I know it's customary for someone to see you upon recommendation from their PCP but I'm having a struggle with getting the primary care physician to listen to me and examine me and/or order testing. Perhaps I can start by seeing your Nurse Practitioner/Physician's Assistant if that helps to see if I need further evaluation by the doctor?"

Or, if that doesn't work, sometimes a visit to the Emergency Room will move the process along.
