Hello all...
I was diagnosed with having a small right paracentral disk protrusion at L4-L5 causing a mild mass effect on the dural sac, and subtle narrowing of the right neural foramen. I recently just saw a chiropractor for about 5 visits. He performed flexion-distraction and still no change in my condition. He referred me to an orthopedic surgeon. In fact, I have been going to sleep at night with a bag of ice and an ice pack....just so I can get out of bed and begin to walk. My accident is work related going back to 2009...it will be a whole year this August. I was in physical therapy for a while and got a little relief back in 09..but being a military reserve I reactivated my back problem and am now seeking the advice of an attorney to reopen my case. Can someone or anyone here provide me with some information about this condition? Does it require surgery, should I go back to physical therapy, is this something I will have for the rest of my life?
Any information would be greatly appreciated..
Thank you for taking the time to provide me some input.
Kim
